~ About the Company ~

     At age 17, Richard A Reinhold, Sr. built his own car.  Today the company he founded, Reinholds Restorations, provides full and complete automotive restoration work to other antique and classic car collectors and enthusiasts.
     Among the services they offer are engine rebuilding and machining, custom mix paints and painting, body woodworking, detailing, sandblasting, upholstery and woodgraining.  They work on all makes and models from the 1900's up to the 1960's.  They also do repairs, service and appraisals.
     Richard Sr. started the business back in the 1970's, when his original profession, the homebuilding business, got slow.  His wife Gladys ran the office for 25 years.  Today Reinhold's son, Richard A Reinhold, Jr., owns the company, aided by his brother James (mechanical technician), sister Helen Reinhold Gordon (upholstery technician) and Jeremy Brubaker (bodywork technician).  Dad still oversees operations and helps out.
     A lot of customers, Richard Jr. said, want to restore an antique car but get in over their heads.  Where do you find an engine for a vintage '40s Ford?  The Reinhold family knows where to find it, and a lot of other parts as well.  If they can't find it, they may be able to fabricate it in their machine shop.  They have the knowledge and experience to keep the car as "original" as possible.  Proof of their skill and dedication lies in the over 200 National Antique Automobile Club of America winners they have worked on, and various Marquee Club Awards given to their customers and to their own car collection.

From PA Turnpike Exit 286 Or Route 222 - Denver Exit
Take 272 North to Weaver Markets in Adamstown.
Turn left onto 897 North.
Proceed 4 miles to 4-way stop sign in Reinholds.
Turn right onto North Ridge Road,
1/2 mile on left look for Truck Wheels.
