Lighthouse Learning Home School Co-op
Welcome
Thank you for your interest in
Lighthouse Learning Home School Co-op. This will be our eighth
year as a fellowship and support group. Each year the Lord
blesses us with new and better ways to help each other in our home school endeavors.
We have open enrollment all year long. Each session lasts
only five weeks. This years classes will be a new topic of
study each week so it will be easy to jump in at any time.
Lighthouse Co-op is a non profit volunteer run Christian
organization. Volunteers are crucial to running a quality
program. Please refer to our volunteer opportunities page
and prayerfully consider using your strenghts to bless others.
We have many exciting activities and enrichment
classes planned. Similar to other years, we will be offering
five-five week sessions. Our classes our held at Hillside Christian Church on
Thursdays from September through May, with two breaks in between
for Christmas and Easter.
Doors will open at 10:30am. Morning announcements and prayer will begin at 10:50am. Our am enrichment classes will begin at 11:00am and end at 12noon. Lunch will be from 12noon to 12:45. Our pm enrichment session will begin at 1:00pm and end at 2:00pm.
Our kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, and two microwaves which
are open for our
families to use during lunch period. Your family should pack a
lunch each week unless the co-op specifies otherwise. There are
a few fast food restaurants within a five mile radius of the
church, however keep in mind our lunch period is only forty five
minutes so time is limited.
Included here on our page you will find information on our
enrichment classes, fees and dues, supply donations, volunteer
opportunities, volunteer covenant, family agreement, rules of
conduct, 2011-2012 schedule, emergency medical form, and
signature page. Please complete the medical release form, and
sign the signature page where indicated and return both of these
with your registration fee by our first co-op meeting in
September.
