Comments:: "This bird has been seen continuously for the past month or so. It is definitely a bird of prey as we have watched it eat upon a perch. It has absolutely no other colors other than its pure white feathers from head to toe (underbelly and under wings too) and its yellow feet and beak. It has been seen as close as 150 to 200 yds from our house and can estimate a wingspan of around 5 feet. This bird is extremely keen. The instant we try to step outside to get a better shot it looks directly at us and jumps to a farther tree, even at distances of 200+ yds. I have searched many references and found no solid answer to name this amazing bird of prey. If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. In the mean time, we will keep an eye out for a better picture."
